This led the company to pocket the distinguished recognition as Dubai’s Leading Destination Management Company. The achievement is a crucial point in Orient Tour’s history that underlines the company’s impressive entrepreneurial growth over the past few years.
“2018 was a productive year for us, not only professionally, but financially too,” said Shantanu Mehta, Executive Manager of Orient Tours. “Our revenues jumped 15% from the earlier year, and we expect this steady growth year-over-year as we endeavor to live up to our name as Dubai’s Leading Destination Management Company.”

Shantanu also discussed the successful efforts of Orient Tours implementing outstanding global network and partnerships with leading attraction companies; and further highlighted their unrelenting efforts to meet UAE’s tourism objectives.
As part of its plans for the future, Orient Tours is focusing on strengthening associations, introduce new exciting products, entering key new markets and appointing Sales representatives to support and drive growth in 2019.
“We are exerting all our efforts to implement a strategy that focuses on strengthening relationships with trusted long-time partners, creating value-additions to the product portfolio and entering key new markets. To that end, we have recently appointed a new Sales Representatives in the UK as well as in other European markets like Scandinavia, Switzerland, Austria, Italy, Spain and Portugal.
In order to service the all-weather key market of India, Orient Tours has recruited two experienced Sales Managers based in New Delhi covering North India and Mumbai in order to cater to rising demand from West India. “We also recently appointed a dedicated in-house Sales Manager to manage our business development activities in Poland and the Czech Republic. We soon hope to widen the scope of our engagement to Benelux countries, Latin America, and Australia.” concluded Shantanu.
At the beginning of this season, Orient Tours introduced four new excursions and six new off-road/safari expeditions to a select group of domestic partners after meticulous research, planning and testing. ATM will be the perfect platform for Orient Tours’ global launch to all partners worldwide. The introduction of these new excursions and safari expeditions at the ATM will add to Orient Tours’ strengths as the region’s oldest and most experienced DMC, building upon their award-winning reliability, amazing product portfolio and bespoke service quality.
The company plans to ramp up its physical and social presence by being available at both, the Dubai Tourism booth and the Sharjah Tourism stand.
