After a comfortable flight from Dubai, we left the Entebbe Airport for our hotel in Kampala. The drive to Kampala was an enjoyable and scenic and gave us an opportunity to take in the sights and sounds of Uganda’s unhurried lifestyle. When we reached out hotel, we were pleasantly surprised to see all modern facilities and amenities on offer.
Set around a courtyard garden and pool, Urban by CityBlue Kampala is a true oasis of calm amidst the frenetic energy of Uganda’s capital city. Free wi-fi available in all parts of the hotel also offers an opportunity for you to stay with your business and family when travelling to Uganda.
Ample parking space is provided free for all guests and a choice of restaurants offer cuisine of all kinds.
Our team stayed in the standard deluxe rooms and found the accommodation up to international standards. The clean and well designed toilets, comfortable beds, a dedicated balcony overlooking the swimming pool courtyard provided for a relaxed and comfortable stay. The food was excellent and the service staff were friendly and helpful. The answer to whether we would recommend this hotel to our fellow travellers from the Middle East is a resounding “YES”.
